Mj Rain

Mj Rain is a writer who also believes herself lucky enough to live her greatest dream as the mother to a Rainbow Baby, Lily and a Pot of Gold Baby, Gavin. She also lives with her husband, Danny, her mom, Judy and their Lilac Siamese Cat, Lucky. Collectively, she loves to refer to her family as a Traveling Circus. 

Mj began actively writing in the Winter of 2011/2012, following a nervous breakdown and the discovery of the Harry Potter series, which Mj credits for changing her life not once, but twice. It was the little boy wizard and his author who ultimately inspired her to sit down and WRITE. While Mj was going through her breakdown and in therapy, she tore through the book series and watched the movies hundreds of times. She has a collection of memorabilia she likes to call 'nothing to sneeze at', Was a Pottermore Beta in August of 2011, and she attended Leaky Con in Dallas in August 2018. She calls herself a certified Potterhead, but bows down only to the one true Potterhead Queen, her best friend, Unicorn Gwen.

In the time since Mj began writing, she's been published in Digital & Print by Rock and Roll Saved My Soul & Broken Bars Publishing, had her Poetry published by The Cat's Meow for Writers and Readers E-Zine, and wrote several Freelance Articles that were published by I'm With Geek. 

Mj is extremely excited about her new partnership with her best friend, Unicorn Gwen. Gwen is a BRILLIANT artist whose work has had a positive and profound impact on Mj. Gwen's perseverance and passion for her art reignited Mj's creative pilot light and inspired her to get serious about writing again, after putting it down for two and a half years, to have her children. 

Currently, Mj is working on her trilogy, An Angel's Tale and Unicorn Gwen is working on her Art in pursuit of becoming a Disney Animator. Together, they have many wonderful projects planned for the future and Mj looks forward at the success she and her best friend will achieve together.

In Mj's free time, she is a certified GoT fan and has watched every episode from the very beginning, when the pilot first aired on HBO. 

She's also fascinated by the inner workings of the Cosmic Universe, Astrology, and how they connect & communicate with her energetically. She also loves to cook and bake, Unicorns and Rainbows, and all that is Magical. 🌠
